Suspension of IPL Umpire

The umpire of the Indian Premier League (IPL) Amish Saheba has been suspended fot two matches for speaking his mind on ShreeShant for his on field behaviour in Mohali on Friday night. The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) has also sought for explanation for his words in the media.

Saheba, who was the umpire for the match between mumbai Indians and Kings XI along with Aleem Dar, said that the kerela lads behaviour was like a “petulant school boy”.

Contrary to Saheba’s statement, Match Referee Farokh Engineer, in a hearing on Monday, said the incident was completely unprovoked but still warned Sreesanth to curb his on-field antics.
Harbhajan has been banned for the rest of the IPL season and has been fined 100 percent of his match fee.
